Sad Mod keeps the original Sprunki roster and the original stage and changes exactly one thing: every character is crying. Blue tears, downturned mouths, Fun Bot's screen showing a weeping face. It is the rare Sprunki mod that is sad without being scary.

What Is Sprunki Sad Mod?

Sad Mod is the original Sprunki with one change applied to every character: they are all crying. The build’s title card reads Sad Mod Sprunki, the stage is a green meadow under a blue sky, and the roster is the standard twenty. Nothing has been added — no bonus characters, no new mode, no story. The mod is entirely about the faces.

Who Made It

Nobody is reliably credited. The playable build was packaged from a Scratch project that is no longer public, and neither the Sprunki Mods wiki nor the Sprunki Phases wiki has a page for it. Aggregator sites attach different names to it, none of which held up, so we list it as unattributed. The build’s gallery is inherited from the template it was built on and is not the creator’s own work.

The Cast

All twenty are here, and the redraws are consistent: downturned mouths, heavy eyelids, and for several of them the blue tears that give the mod its look.

  • Oren keeps his headphones and just looks miserable.
  • Fun Bot’s screen shows a weeping face.
  • Gray, brud, OWAKCX, Simon and Pinki have visible tears.
  • Mr Sun has an open, wailing frown.
  • Mr Fun Computer’s monitor shows a downturned mouth.
  • Black stands with his hat on, eyes closed, as unhappy as everyone else.

Not Sprunki SAD

This is easy to confuse with a different mod. Some sites serve a project titled Sprunki SAD — subtitled The Sprunkis Sad on its own title card — which swaps the roster for original characters (Jose, Charlie, Victor, Harold, Bryce, Sarah, Damien, Stella, Marty) on a night-time stage with a moon. That is a separate mod by a different creator. The one on this page keeps the standard Sprunki cast.

How It Plays

Standard Sprunki mixer. Seven slots on the stage, a tray of sound icons below. Drag an icon into a slot and it starts looping a layer; pull it back off to drop that layer. Everything joins on the beat, so stacked loops stay in time. Mute buttons per slot, a reset, a dark-mode toggle and a gallery.

Is it suitable for kids?

Yes. It is one of the gentlest Sprunki mods around - bright meadow, blue sky, and a cast that is upset rather than injured.
