What Is Sprunki Double Date?
Double Date is a crossover, and it is unusually honest about it. The key art carries the line PARTNERS IN CARNAGE X Cruel Sinda across the top, and the credits screen inside the game names both authors and both mods:
- Footlong Nachos — creator of Partners in Carnage
- РЭД анархий — creator of Cruel Sinda
That pairing is not new. The same two creators are behind Sprunki Megaswap (Footlong’s Take), where one built on the other’s concept. Here they built at the same time, and the credits note the whole thing was made in five days — sounds in FL Studio, the mod itself in TurboWarp and Gandi.
What The Listing Sites Get Wrong
Nearly every aggregator carrying this mod describes a “quartet system” that scales the cast down to four characters for intimate duets. Open the build and that is not what is there.
- The stage has nine slots, not four.
- The project carries the full twenty-character Sprunki roster — Oren, Raddy, Clukr, Fun Bot, Vineria, Gray, brud, Garnold, OWAKCX, Sky, Mr. Sun, Durple, Mr. Tree, Simon, Tunner, Mr. Fun Computer, Wenda, Pinki, Jevin and Black — laid out across two rows in the tray.
- A separate row of bonus icons sits above the stage, one of them labelled Sister Harmony.
It is a standard Sprunki mixer with a wide roster and a horror skin, not a stripped-down duet game. The “double date” is the crossover, not a limit on how many characters you get.
How It Plays
Drag an icon from the tray onto one of the nine figures on stage and it starts looping its layer; drag it back off to drop the layer. Everything joins on the beat, so stacked loops stay in time. Each occupied slot gets its own mute and solo controls, there is a reset in the top corner, and a Gallery button tracks what you have found.
The title screen gives you two doors: Play and Cutscene. The second one runs the story sequence by itself, which is worth taking if you want the setup before the noise. A second-phase controller sits behind the stage, so the scene does not stay the way it starts.
The Look
The cast arrives damaged. Bandages, blood, exposed eyes, a top-hatted silhouette with one orange pupil and one magenta one — the two source mods do not share an art style, and Double Date does not try to reconcile them. The stage sits under a bruised pink-and-gold sunset, and every unfilled slot stays a black silhouette until you drop somebody into it.
Before You Play
- Free and browser-based, no download and no account.
- It is a large build. The packaged project is around 54 MB, so the first load takes a moment on a slow connection. Once the launch screen appears it is ready.
- Horror content, and not the subtle kind — the cast is visibly injured.
- Made by fans, not by the people behind Incredibox. The game and its artwork belong to its authors.
