What Is Sprunki Phase 3?

Phase 3 is the mod by qwe_rty that opened the fan-made phase series. Before it, Sprunki mods were mostly one-off reskins; after it, the numbered phases became their own line, and every later entry followed the shape Phase 3 laid down. That is what makes it more significant than its number suggests.

It was released across Scratch, Cocrea and itch.io.

The Sound Set

The audio is mostly built in Beepbox rather than sampled, which gives Phase 3 its thinner, more synthetic character compared with the original Sprunki.

Four voices break that rule. OWAKCX, Sky, Mr. Fun Computer and Jevin reuse audio from Phase 1 and Phase 2, run through Scratch’s own Slowed Down and Robot effects — and Sky gets a Reverse on top of that.

The one clear sample is Fun Bot, which runs an Amen break at 120 BPM.

The Roster

Phase 3’s line-up includes Oren, Simon, Pinki, Raddy, Clukr, Gray and Garnold, alongside the returning voices above.

How It Plays

Like the rest of the Sprunki family, this is a drag-and-drop mixer built on the Incredibox format. You pull a character from the tray into an empty stage slot and it starts looping one layer of the track; pull it back off to drop that layer. Loops join on the beat, so anything you stack stays in time. There is no score and no way to lose.

Before You Play

  • Free and browser-based.
  • Horror-leaning — this is where the phase series starts getting dark.
  • Plays fine on its own; you do not need Phase 1 or 2 first.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Phase 3 matter?

It is the mod that opened the fan-made phase series. Everything numbered after it follows the pattern Phase 3 set.

How were the sounds made?

Mostly in Beepbox. Four characters are exceptions - OWAKCX, Sky, Mr. Fun Computer and Jevin reuse audio from the earlier phases with Scratch's Slowed Down and Robot effects applied, and Sky also gets a Reverse effect.

What is the Fun Bot loop?

Fun Bot runs an Amen break sample at 120 BPM, which is the one clearly sampled part of the set.

Do I need to play Phase 1 or 2 first?

No. Each phase stands on its own. The order only matters if you want to follow how the community's storyline developed.
